I WISH I had known about this book sooner

Ok - So I have four kids. Yes. Four. 17, 14, 4, 16mo. And no, I'm not crazy.

If you had asked me when I was 20 if I was going to be 41 with four kids that spread out, I would have told you no... that's crazy. I'm also pretty sure I would have told you how I was going to be a National Geographic photographer and travel the world too. Well, not even half of that did I get right. Well, maybe a third... I am a photographer.

But, I digress... sorry.

I do wish I had access to the cool things and information we do now as parents when my two older kids were little. I think I would have had more sleep and less stress if I could have had access to just ONE book. "Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting (now with Bébé Day by Day: 100 Keys to French Parenting)" By author Pamela Druckerman. Go here to buy it if you want: https://www.amazon.com/Bringing-Up-B%C3%A9b%C3%A9-Discovers-Parenting/dp/0143122967/ref=sr_1_1?crid=24GQ4P4HHQL3O&keywords=bringing+up+bebe+paperback&qid=1570751256&sprefix=Bringing+up+be%2Caps%2C404&sr=8-1

This book was a game changer for me. It made me abandon some of the ideas and thoughts I had about being a good Mom and how to get your child to behave, eat better, and even sleep better.

My favorite part, was that my very educated and very experienced child care provider (we are talking 30+ years here) agreed with much of what she was saying in the book. Also, it followed along with some of the beliefs and practices that my mother and grandmother had preached to all of us new moms in the family. Check Check.

So, if you are a new parent, know a new parent, or are just plain curious... I encourage you to go get a copy. Hopefully it will help as much as it did for me!

Gero arte!
